Baptists in Kingwood

The Kingwood Baptist Church has a long and storied history in the town of Baptistown, New Jersey. Founded in the 18th century, the church has been a central part of life for many residents over the years. The present Baptistown Baptist Church is the result of a merger between the Kingwood Baptist Church and the Locktown Baptist Church in the early 21st century. Despite the changes in name and location, the church remains an important part of the community and continues to serve its members and the greater Baptist community.
