Hunterdon County has recently been the locus of a series of earthquakes with nearly 40 measurable events over a short period of time. Why and how is this happening?
To help answer these questions, please join Dr. Greg Herman, a PhD structural geologist for an enlightening talk entitled, Geological, geospatial, and temporal aspects of the April 2024 earthquake swarm, Hunterdon County, NJ
Dr. Herman has focused on Appalachian geology, tectonics, and bedrock hydrogeology for most of his 32-year career as a New Jersey state geologist, professor and author. He currently works for Trap Rock Industries while researching geological,geophysical and geoarchaeological phenomena, and writing books detailing his findings.
