Dr. Herman has focused on Appalachian geology, tectonics, and bedrock hydrogeology for most of his 32-year career as a New Jersey state geologist, professor and author. He currently works for Trap Rock Industries while researching geological,geophysical and geoarchaeological phenomena, and writing books detailing his findings.
