Join the Friends of the Locktown Stone Church and Delaware Township Environmental Commission in keeping our community clean on Saturday, May 10. We will meet at the church at 9:00 am. Each group will have at least one chaperone. Participants will pick up litter along roadsides of Locktown following route maps.
All participants will be provided with gloves, garbage bags, an official Litter Clean Up Day t-shirt, drawstring bag, and a breakfast snack.
Bring your own water bottle and dress appropriately in long pants and sturdy shoes.
Children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent.
Litter Clean Up Day is sponsored by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection – Clean Communities Program. This community effort not only helps keep our roadways clean, it will also help raise funds for the ongoing maintenance and support of the historic Locktown Stone Church, courtesy of the program.
